FlowPath Privacy Policy

FlowPath is a block-sliding puzzle game for Android and iOS.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to information when you play FlowPath. The short version: you never have to make an account, and your progress stays on your phone. If you choose to sign in with Google, a copy of your progress is kept in the cloud so you can get it back on a new phone, and your player name, avatar, level and stars appear on the in-game leaderboards that other players can see. What else reaches the outside world is advertising (served by Google), measurement of our own ads for FlowPath (Meta and AppsFlyer), anonymous gameplay statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase), a push token if you allow notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), anonymous notes on how smoothly the game runs (Cloud Firestore), crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and, if you buy something, the record of that purchase (RevenueCat).

What stays on your phone

Everything the game remembers about you is stored in the app's own storage on your device: levels finished, stars, coins, gems, boosters, which worlds are unlocked, your daily reward streak, and your settings (music, sound, vibration, left- or right-handed play).

Unless you turn on the cloud save below, none of it is sent to us, and deleting the app deletes it. (If Android's own backup is on for your phone, Android may back the game's storage up to your Google Account and put it back when you reinstall. That is Google's backup, controlled in your phone's settings; we cannot read it.)

Cloud save (optional)

In Settings → Cloud Save you can sign in with your Google Account, so your levels come back if you change or reset your phone. This is off until you tap it, and the game works the same without it.

When you sign in, we use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (both run by Google) to keep:

What Why
Your Google Account email address and a Firebase user ID To know which saved progress is yours
Your game progress: levels and stars, coins, gems, boosters, unlocked worlds, purchases made in the game, daily reward, spin and mission progress To give your progress back on another phone
Your leaderboard entry: the player name you chose in the game, your avatar, your player level, your total stars and the stars you won this week To show you on the leaderboards, which every player of the game can see

Only you can read or change your saved progress. The leaderboard entry is public inside the game: other players see your player name, avatar, level and stars, but never your email address. Pick a player name you are happy for others to see (tap your name on the Profile page to change it). We do not use any of this for advertising, and it is not shared with anyone else. Your music, sound and vibration settings stay on the phone.

Settings → Sign Out stops the cloud save on this phone. If you then sign in with a different Google Account, the game on the phone is replaced by that account's own game; the first account's game stays in the cloud and comes back when you sign in with it again.

Deleting your cloud save and account

In the game, open Settings → Help → Delete cloud save (shown while you are signed in) and confirm. That deletes your saved progress and your leaderboard entry from the cloud and deletes your account right away. The progress on your phone stays until you uninstall the app.

If you no longer have the app, email abdtech.apps@gmail.com from the Google Account you signed in with, with the subject "FlowPath account deletion". We delete the account, all of its saved progress and its leaderboard entry within 30 days and reply to confirm. Nothing is kept afterwards.

Advertising

FlowPath shows ads through Google AdMob. Google, not us, collects and processes the data behind those ads. According to Google, its Mobile Ads SDK collects:

What Why
IP address To serve ads and estimate roughly where the device is
Advertising identifier and app set ID To limit repeats, measure ads and — with consent — personalise them
Ad interactions (views, taps, video views, app opens) To measure and bill ads, and to detect fraud
Diagnostics (crashes, performance) To keep the ad SDK working

How Google uses this is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can see the companies Google may share ad data with at Google's list of ad technology providers.

Measuring our own ads

When we advertise FlowPath in other apps and on websites, we need to know which ads brought new players and whether those players kept playing, so that we stop paying for ads that do not work. For this the game includes two measurement services:

What Why
Advertising identifier, IP address, device model, system version, and when the game was installed and opened To match an install to the ad that led to it
Google Play's install referrer (which ad or link the install came from) The same
A few game events: the tutorial was finished, levels 5, 10, 20 and 50 were cleared for the first time, a purchase was made (what, its price and currency, the order ID), and what an ad shown in the game earned To see which ads brought players who enjoy the game, and to find more players like them

No name, email address, Google Account or anything you type is sent. Where the consent form below applies, Meta's SDK is not started at all, and AppsFlyer follows the answers you gave in that form. Resetting or deleting your advertising ID (see below) also breaks the link to your earlier data.

Gameplay statistics

To see which levels are too hard and which parts of the game people use, FlowPath sends anonymous events to Google Analytics for Firebase: a level was started, won, lost or left (with its number, stars, moves and how long it took), a booster or a continue was used, coins or gems were earned or spent and on what, a rewarded ad was asked for or watched, an ad was shown and what it earned, a shop checkout was opened and how it ended, a reward or the tutorial was finished, a reminder was opened, a screen was opened. A few labels describe your game rather than you: how many levels you have cleared, whether you have bought anything, Remove Ads, and your sound, music, vibration, reminder, hand and Graphics settings. Along with them go a random app instance ID, the device model and system version, and a rough location worked out by Google from the IP address. No name (not even the one on your profile), email or anything you type is sent.

If the game crashes, a crash report goes to Firebase Crashlytics: where in the code it failed, the device model and system version, a random installation ID of Crashlytics' own, and the same game labels as above. It is used only to find and fix the crash.

Where the consent form below applies, these statistics follow your answer to it. How Google handles this data is described in Google Analytics data collection.

To find and fix stutter, the game also times how smoothly each screen runs and, when you leave it, stores a short performance note in Google's Cloud Firestore: the screen and level, frame rate and slow frames, the Graphics setting, and the phone's make, model, memory, Android version and screen size. It carries no ID of any kind, so it cannot be linked to you or to your other data, and it is used only to make the game run better.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, FlowPath may remind you — at most once a day, in the evening — that a Free Chest or daily reward is waiting. These reminders are planned on your phone by the game itself. No server sends them, and nothing about you is collected to do it.

We may also, now and then, send news about the game — a new world, an event or an offer — through Firebase Cloud Messaging. To deliver these, Google gives your copy of the game a random push token. It is not linked to your name, email or Google Account, and we send the same message to every player rather than to anyone in particular.

You can turn both off with the Notifications switch in FlowPath's Settings, or in your phone's settings for FlowPath. When notifications are off, the game deletes its push token and nothing more is sent to it.

Your choices about ads

Purchases

If you buy anything in FlowPath, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your card number, your address or your name — only whether a purchase went through, so the game can give you what you bought.

To check that a purchase is genuine and to let you restore it on a new phone, the store's receipt is verified by RevenueCat, a service that works for us. It receives the purchase record (what was bought, when, the order ID) and a random ID for this install — nothing that names you.

Children

FlowPath is meant for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child. Ads in the game are limited to content rated suitable for teen and general audiences.

If you believe a child has been using the app and you would like their device data cleared, uninstalling the app removes everything the game stored. You can also write to us at the address below.

What we never do

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete personal data held about you, and to withdraw consent. Unless you use the cloud save, we hold nothing ourselves, and the fastest routes are the ad choices listed above and uninstalling the app. A cloud save can be deleted as described above. For anything held by Google as a result of the ads, use your Google Account controls; for data held by Meta or AppsFlyer, use the privacy pages linked under Measuring our own ads. If you would like help with a request, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's update notes.
